My name is Ben Masters, and I’m a copywriter, based in Exeter, Devon. Specialising in blogs, brochures, and web copy, I work with a range of clients on promotional content in its myriad forms.

I’ve written on a raft of topics: web design, marketing, management consultancy, mental health, health spas, cookery, construction, choreography, car sharing, CD and DVD reproduction, asbestos, insurance, and physiotherapy. I’m happy to turn my hand to most things.

An ink-drunk language obsessive and former English teacher, I love writing about education, learning, and the world of work. Before going freelance, I taught at Exeter School, which was named "South West Independent Secondary School of the Year" by the Sunday Times in 2018. They recently invited me back to work on the wholesale rewrite of their website.

In a former life, I was an accountant with Coopers and Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers), where I passed professional examinations in Financial Accounting, Financial Decisions, Economics, and Management and Marketing.
